How do I enroll into Aerodance?

Please send an email to admin@aerodanceonline.com or ranjani_manda@yahoo.com with full name and age details of your child following which you will hear from us.

Please leave a message on 510 498 8298 in case you have waited for more than a week. 

Which age groups do you teach?
Boys and girls ages 3 and above are all eligible.

How do I get an appointment ?
You will be notified the date and time via email after you have sent in a request for enrollment. We audition kids by checking their  readiness levels, based on which each prospective student is allotted a group.
New parents can also drop in at the studio on weekdays at 8:00pm with a completed application form [see Registration] and you will hear from us in a weeks to months time.Students are put on waitlist in case all slots are full.

Do you also teach pure classical dances?
Aerodance specializes in Folk, Semi-classical, Bollywood and Fusion dance forms.  We offer Kuchipudi [South Indian Classical dance] Odissi[East Indian Classical ].

What is the make up rule at Aerodance?
No refund is provided if the student misses a class. Aerodance provides refund or make up class only if the school cancels the class.

How are songs selected? How can we obtain the audio track?
Though the director reserves the right to make the final choice, song requests from students may be considered.After the song is finalized, audio file of the song is provided to all the students in the group.

What is the class schedule?
Classes are taught once a week for 1 hour. There will be 4-5 classes a month.

Students who need to improve on their personal skills  are advised to  attend other classes for no extra cost.

Do you host an annual show?

Yes we have a year end recital planned for every child whereby they will recieve level awards.

Child based Questions:

My child has never been to a dance class before.Can I watch the class?

Child is made to feel comfortable at audition,so parents are advised  to leave unless specified.

My child is in advanced level with another  school of dance.

Can we participate in one or two competitions or learn solos?

Every student is at a liberty to learn from anyone .We will add the student to a group that belongs to his/her level. Solos are strictly based on directors discretion.

I just want my child to enjoy the class and have fun.Is it Ok to join?

Yes  .We will Aero-develop the student and then we give you a choice of wide varieties of dance styles and opportunities available.You are free to choose.

What are the performance opportunities given?

ALL the students will be a part of Annual Dance Recital -Aerovaganza: An extraordinary dance talent exhibited per given age group.
Aerodancers are free to perform in various cultural events held throughout the year in Bay area.

Aerodancers are selected and screened for competition participation.

Is there a  dress code for class?
Yes

Boys: Black stretch pants and   AeroTee Shirts 
Girls: Black stretch pants/Tights and AeroTee Shirts

How do you arrange for costumes for performances.
We orient parents before the events according to the event requirement.

What is the best way to communicate in case I need to share information or discuss about my childs class?
Email is the best way to reach.  Calls are encouraged only for new enrollments or an emergency.

How do you monitor the coordination of team work  in established or performance based teams?
We have a  network system where things are kept transparent between the school and the happening event , so every rule of an organisation is clearly understood.

 What is so unique about your school?
 We are a learning based school of dance for preK through High school. Our motto is to direct students using dance as an educational tool. All students are taken into the journey of a single or all programs we have to offer.We train  students for entertainment, fun competitions, and also link academics to dance which is a learning process.

 Ladies and Senior Students based questions:

Do you have dance sessions for ladies too? Do we need an audition?
Yes. Ladies can also enroll for classes after getting auditioned. Audition in terms of health and endurance levels only.

Do you offer a workout or fun based or performance class?
All of the above.
